I've missed the last couple days of blogging. School has been a little nuts AND we just put up our show today in Davenport. It's titled, "3D RSVP". It is open at the Bucktown Gallery from now until May 31st. I think it's a great show... lots of different, unique work. We are a group of six and each of us utilize such different modes and mediums. However, in addition to our personal work, we chose one material and each of us made a piece from it. Some loved it, some hated it and myself, well... I got used to it and found a way to "Kelly" it up. In my interview, the man mentioned that my use of the material seemed to "rebel against the material and the way everyone had chosen to use it". Little does he realize how accurate that defines my character- I will not say this character trait is neither good nor bad... just saying. I'll be in Minneapolis for the next two days but will post pics of the show once I can get back to Bucktown. ))))))))Also... I put a 20"x30" print of the Base Font Poster that I doodled a couple weeks ago (I had to give a shot out to the blog!) :P
